Our Mission
The mission of Conway Christian school is to provide quality academics taught from the traditional Biblical worldview on which America was founded. Our goal is to prepare our students for academic success in college, but most importantly we want to instill in our students a solid foundation built on Biblical truth that will remain with them for life. CCS is currently accredited through  SCISA (the South Carolina Independent School Association) and through AdvancED which accredits public and private high school, colleges, and universities across the nation.

From kindergarten through high school, a strong traditional curriculum is our scholastic foundation, and our middle and high school students are engaged in  a rigorous college preparatory and Honors-level program with the addition of AP-Dual Credit courses. CCS uses the highly regarded A Beka curriculum which begins with a focus on reading in K-4. Science and math are strengthened with the integration of  additional curricula from Bob Jones Science and Saxon math. In addition, CCS is affiliated with the National Honor Society and Beta Club, as well as participating in the Duke TIP Program and S.C. Junior Scholars. Our high school juniors attend South Carolina Boys and Girls State in promoting leadership skills. Our student government participates in two statewide conferences per year, with the opportunity to run for state offices and to speak on the floor of the South Carolina House of Representatives.

Our Faculty at Conway Christian School is committed to instilling academic excellence in their students. The CCS faculty has obtained undergraduate and graduate degrees from a variety of colleges and universities. 36% of our faculty have taught in public schools from elementary to the college level.

Students at Conway Christian School participate in several national tests measuring academic achievement. First through ninth graders are administered the Stanford 10 tests where we consistently score higher than the national average: our classes score anywhere from the 58th to the 97th percentile. Our middle and high school students participate in the PSAT, and our high schoolers take the SAT and/or ACT. This year’s junior class (Class of 2019) had an average of 1015 on the PSAT.  The top 50% of the class of 2017 had an average SAT score of 1251 with three students scoring in the 1300 and 1400 range.
